Research Scientist Promotion

We are thrilled to announce a significant achievement within our research team at OSoMe: the promotion of Dr. Filipi N. Silva from Assistant Research Scientist to Associate Research Scientist!

Prior to joining OSoMe, Dr. Silva served as an Assistant Research Scientist for four years at the IU Network Science Institute. He holds a Ph.D. in Physics from the São Carlos Institute of Physics (University of São Paulo). Dr. Silva's research interests span a diverse array of fields, including bioinformatics, text analysis, science of science, information science, and urban networks. His work revolves around leveraging complex networks, machine learning, and data visualization techniques to analyze and model real-world systems.

Dr. Silva has distinguished himself through his innovative research contributions and collaborative spirit. His development of a web-based framework to visualize dynamic networks in real-time has been instrumental in the enhancement of our tools. We look forward to Dr. Silva’s continued contributions in our ongoing research initiatives.
