James McCombs

James McCombs is a Research Software Developer with Research Data Services at University Information Technology Services. He specializes in providing high performance and distributed computing solutions for data-intensive problems on cloud and HPC platforms. James is currently providing support to the OSoMe IT Team, developing a cluster-based social media post indexing system. James has a bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Purdue University and a Ph.D. in Computer Science with a Specialization in Computational Science from the College of William and Mary.
