IUNI Research Data Engineer Opening

The Indiana University Network Science Institute is seeking a research data engineer. If you join our IT team, you will be working on several projects related to misinformation and big data, in collaboration with our partners at the Observatory on Social Media. We are a small team so you will have a huge impact and the opportunity to take ownership over many of these projects.

The biggest technical requirements are Python (including numpy, pandas, etc) and database experience, but we're flexible. Experience with big data, spark, and NoSQL databases are a plus.

We offer a hybrid schedule for our team so being located in Bloomington, Indiana is a plus. A fully remote position can be considered for the right candidate. Salary will be around $65K or more depending on experience, plus generous benefits.
